I am not a crafty dude (far from it), if anything, I veer heavily towards the contemporary/modern end of design. Still the famous Ceramics of the Amalfi coast, specifically in Vietri sul Mare, are worth a look...
I have chosen to post pics of the designs themselves rather than the Plates, Platters, Basins etc which inhabit them. All of Italy and accross the world covet these dishes and although they will never make up the bulk of my glassware, there is nothing like a heaping pile of Pasta or a whole Fish atop one of these ancient scenes. And as a reminder they have been present in my cooking since the very beginning of this journey...
