I had passed this residential intersection many times as I winded in and through Southern Rome on my way to and from work and always wanted to jump out to explore the street art which ordained these particular four walls. The accompaniment of Suri was the impetus to see this moment not only as a subject but in its neighborhood context; a neighborhood we both instantly appreciated.
The four walls are homage to a local soccer team, partially damaged by the climate, fading but aging gracefully. I do not know the back-story, but these images indulge my own residential criteria of togetherness, family, art and triumph.
